It is fun to help
make people's dreams come alive.
This is
why I run
trips for the Adirondack Mountain Club. In the course of more than
thirty
years of leading and guiding trips, I have hiked, canoed, kayaked,
skied
and snow shoed with lots of wonderful people, helping them experience
new
places. Some of these trips have been in the Adirondacks and New York
State,
while others have been in far away exotic destinations. I have led
trips
to Nepal, the Alps, above the Arctic Circle and on northern rivers. My early experiences leading wilderness trips were with the Boy Scouts. I then started a full time outdoor recreation business called Pack, Paddle, Ski, which has kept me occupied with twenty years of adventuring. In addition to leading trips, I love to enjoy the outdoors with my family and friends. On all of the trips, it is fun to see people smile as they discover new places, new friends, and new skills. Hopefully the people that join me on an adventure will leave with a deeper appreciation of the world around them. Part of the joy in traveling is learning about unique cultures or new environments and ecosystems. It is sharing this joy that makes leading trips so worthwhile. I hope that I will have the pleasure of your company on one of my future trips. Randy French Pack, Paddle, Ski 585-346-5597 |
