DESCRIPTION
April 27 - May 3, 2008 $975.00 Dick Ernenwein, Ken Kaufman, Trip Leaders  The first
image that comes to mind when one thinks of the Cinque Terre is that of
rugged mountain terrain, with dry stone walls holding up vineyards all
looking down at the deep blue Mediterranean Sea. This little chunk of
the Italian Riviera
was first described in medieval times as the “5 lands”There will be 5 hikes on this trip. The level of daily hiking will be moderate. Each day we will hike 5 to 7 hours with elevation gains from 500 ft. to 2500 ft. We will be based in Monterosso in a 2- 3 star hotel; lodging in a double room (or single room - extra) with bathroom ensuite. |
