glacierThis trip is intended to be both a challenging recreational and a unique learning experience.  Our guide/outfitter will be the Glacier Institute, a non-profit, educational organization based in West Glacier and dedicated to sharing knowledge about and preserving the park.

Each day’s guide/naturalist led hike will feature a different educational subject (wildlife, wildflowers, geology, etc.) pertaining to the park, while proviging opportunities to view spectacular scenery and wildlife.

Our planned itinerary includes traveling the length of the exhilarating Going-to-the-Sun Road and a half day raft trip on the Flathead River. Hikes are moderate to somewhat strenuous and range from 4 to 11 miles.
