DAY 1, Saturday July 26, 2008:
Arrive at Kalispell airport. Transport to Glacier Park Field Camp by Glacier Institute
Welcome dinner by Glacier Institute,
Lodging: GPFC cabins

DAY 2, Sunday July 27, 2008
Program: Flora and Fauna of the McDonald Valley
Hike Trail of the Cedars and trail to Avalanche Lake, 4-5 miles, about 800 feet elevation change
Transportation to and from trailhead, and all meals by Glacier Institute
Lodging: GPFC cabins

DAY 3, Monday, July 28, 2008:
Program: Wildlife Discoveries of Lewis and Clark
Hike: Scenic Point Trail, 7 miles, 2,000 feet elevation gain and loss or Firebrand Pass Trail
Transportation and meals by Glacier Institute
Lodging: GPFC cabins

DAY 4, Tuesday, July 29, 2008:
Program: Glacier’s Wildflowers
Hike: Highline Trail (from Logan Pass, along the Continental Divide, approx. 8 mi., 850 ft. elevation change)   
Transportation and meals by Glacier Institute
Lodging: GPFC cabins

DAY 5, Wednesday, July 30, 2008:
Travel day- Going-to-the-Sun Road to Many Glacier (about 3 hours with stops)
Leisurely morning, chance to shop in West Glacier
Arrive mid-afternoon, with time to explore the Many Glacier area
Transportation by Glacier Institute
Breakfast and lunch by Glacier Institute, dinner on own
Lodging: Swiftcurrent Motor Inn Cabins

DAY 6, Thursday, July 31, 2008:
Program: Many Glacier Geology
Hike: Grinnell Glacier, 11 miles, approx. 1,000 ft. elevation change
Trailhead within walking distance from cabins
Meals: all meals on own
Lodging: Swiftcurrent Motor Inn cabins

DAY 7, Friday, August 1, 2008:
Program: History of Glacier
Hike: Iceberg Lake, 9 miles, 1200 ft. elevation change  
Trailhead within walking distance from cabins
Meals: breakfast and lunch on own, Dinner by Glacier Institute
Lodging: GPFC cabins

DAY 8, Saturday, August 2, 2008:
Program: River Ecology by Raft (AM)
Afternoon: free for short hike in area or swimming, etc.
Meals: breakfast and lunch by Glacier Institute, Farewell dinner at Lake McDonald Lodge
Lodging: GPFC cabins

DAY 9, Sunday, August 3, 2008:
Breakfast by Glacier Institute
Return to Kalispell airport, transport by Glacier Institute
